What does my child need?
A laptop or computer with a camera and microphone, and a steady internet connection. A tablet with a pen is best for writing, and it can sit next to the laptop as a second screen just for the board. A mouse and keyboard also work.
Are lessons recorded?
We never record video. We do not record audio either. Each student's board is saved as lesson notes, so your child can look back at the work. Please read our privacy policy for the details.
Why groups of three?
It is small enough for the tutor to see every student's working as they write and to help each one by name. It is big enough that students hear each other's questions and learn from them, and it costs less than one-to-one. Each student writes on their own board, and the tutor can step into any of them.

How does the free test lesson work?
It is 30 minutes with one of our tutors. It is free and we do not ask for card details. Your child does the short maths check first, so the tutor has seen their working before you meet. Afterwards we suggest a group that fits.
What is the maths check?
A short paper, about 15 minutes, written on the same board we use in lessons. There is no account to make and nothing to download. It is not a test to pass. It shows the tutor where your child is today.
How much does it cost?

How long are the lessons, and when?

What if my child misses a lesson?

Is my child's information safe?
We keep only what we need to run lessons, and it is stored on servers in Germany. Our website uses no cookies and no tracking, and we never use children's information for advertising. Read the privacy policy for the full picture.
